Graham obtained his degree from Reading University, UK in 1995. Employed by TVAS (UK) between 1995 and 2000, Graham started as an assistant and via the post of supervisor became a project manager for the company, running urban and rural sites ranging in date from the prehistoric to post-medieval periods.

In 2000, Graham moved to Ireland and the following year set up TVAS (Ireland) Ltd with Kate Taylor and Steve Ford. Graham has been licence eligible in Ireland since 2002 and has been responsible for the management of several major infrastructural projects including national road schemes, M18, N21 M7, M11.

In 2009 Graham established the C.A.F.S - Caherconnell Archaeological Field School, a collaboration with Dr Michelle Comber (NUI Galway) and John Davoren (Burren Stone Forts Ltd). The field school is engaged in the excavation of medieval Gaelic settlement.

Graham enjoys motorcycling and his campervan and visiting as much of the country as possible.
