University of Nicolai Copernici in Torun, Poland: MA of Archaeology, Underwater Archaeology 1999-2004

Iwona began her archaeological career in Prague, where she worked on a very interesting urban excavation along with many crazy but very smart archaeologists. The completion of Iwona's degree saw the beginning of her adult life... Bye Bye Poland, Hello Ireland!

Since moving to Ireland, Iwona has worked for various archaeological companies in Ireland. She has worked on a variety of archaeological sites, ranging from Neolithic settlements to Medieval occupation sites. Since 2007, Iwona has been employed by TVAS (Ireland) Ltd. She is part of the post-excavation team, where she is improving her archaeological skills and learning new ones.
