Eimhear graduated from National University of Ireland Galway in 2006 with an MA in Landscape Archaeology. She worked for archaeological consultancies throughout Ireland before joining TVAS (Ireland) Ltd in 2010.
She has post-graduate experience in field archaeology, testing, desk based assement, surveying and illustration. She is experienced in archaeological surveying using, Lecia TCR407 total station and Panasonic toughbook running penmap survey software, Trimble R6 receiver, a tsc2 data logger on a VRS system, hand planning and use of level on site, Aerial photograph and cartographic analysis.
Eimhear is proficient in the use of Linux and Microsoft operating systems, ArcGIS and freeware GIS software programs, Penmap survey software, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office software programs.
Eimhear has a keen interest in the applications of technology in Archaeology, in addition to an interest in Prehistory in general and Viking Archaeology.
Her Master Thesis focused on Aerial Photography and the evolution of the Cultural Landscape.
